About Us

Let Love Farm (LLF) is a non-profit organization devoted to providing a place where people can visit and experience God’s peace through the beauty of our land and the caring of our animals. It was birthed out of a desire to let the love of Christ shine through us in our every word and deed.

Nestled with our 26-acre farm, you will find barns, friendly animals including horses, sheep, goats, alpacas, barn cats, and a donkey; almost 3 miles of creek lined walking trails nestled in the woods and lined with nature’s wildflowers; a fire pit; and a peaceful pond.

We are run by an all-volunteer staff, donors and supporters; who are all dedicated to developing and preserving the natural beauty of our land, and the care of our animals.

God has blessed us with this profound gift and, our heart’s desire is to share it with you.

Come join us at the Farm!

for me LLF is a place where people can visit and experience God’s peace.  This world brings many challenges and hardships and I feel this farm can provide a brief escape.  I love preserving the land and am excited to create space around the pond and gardens that cause people to be still and rest, taking in His peace and beauty.  Leaving a legacy, especially a loving one, is important to me as well as knowing and believing that what work we have begun will continue when we are gone.  So, I’m excited to give people the opportunity through memorials for people or animals to be remembered by leaving their name and knowing that their life on this earth mattered.  I want people currently and in the past to know that they were loved just as they are or were.  I want people to know that there is something bigger than the rewards on this earth.  I want them to know the reward of knowing Jesus personally.  I believe this farm; the preserving of the land and the future animals can assist in the seeking of that reward.  My favorite verse:  Romans 4:20 – yet with respect to the promise of God, I will not waiver in unbelief but grow strong in faith, giving glory to God.

for me, the way to know God and see Him has always been to actually look at His creation.  One of my favorite quotes is:  “God writes the gospel not in the Bible alone, but on trees, and flowers, and clouds, and stars.”  LLF is about a place to be isolated from the every day world.  It is a place to be able to see and feel His creation.  All of us are broken, so the farm to me is about healing that brokenness.  I believe that healing can occur when we isolate ourselves in His creation and let Him speak to us through it.  I hope to help the farm accomplish its mission, by using my experiences in animals, accounting and finances.  When I look back now, I can see that God was preparing me for this mission to serve Him.  My favorite verse: Romans 1:20 – For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.

for me LLF is a place to forget every day issues and worries and enjoy nature, the open spaces, the animals, and God, our Creator.  I see the beauty of the land in the painted fences; flowers, trails, wild flowers, and the surprised yard art trail markers.  I’m excited to see the barns filled with animals being taken care of with love.  But, mostly, I’m excited to work with those aiding in that care and sharing Jesus with them.  Through this farm and the people associated with it, I want God and His creations to be the forefront.  I’m thankful for the prayers that God has answered in opening this door.  And, I’m looking forward to continuing in prayer with all those that God crosses our path with.  My favorite verse: John 3:16 – For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son.

for me LLF is a calling.  It’s a place that God has given to grow our hearts and reach others in the spreading of the gospel.  Through this farm I hope to be the hands and feet of Jesus and express love as He did for others.  I’m thankful for this land and want to fulfill His purposes and serve in caring for the land and animals.  I love the barnyard and am looking so forward to caring for the animals we will have.  I’m excited to not only care for the animals but to work through each of their abilities, such as learning the woolen process.  Most importantly, I’m thrilled to be able to share this farm and the hope that God provides with all those that God crosses our paths with.  My favorite verse: John 15:5 – I am the vine, you are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit.

– for me LLF represents a place where people can come and experience peace and quiet and feel cared for in their time of need.  I’m excited to put my efforts in preserving the land and bringing out its beauty.  I love to work with equipment and watch animals in their natural habitat.  I’m looking forward to watching the land come to life and captivate each person along this journey.  My favorite verse: Philippians 4:11-13 – to be content in whatever circumstances I am.

for me LLF is a place to visit to be in nature and appreciate God’s blessings.  It’s a place to escape and feel God’s presence even if one may still be searching for what the fulfillment of that means.   I’ve always had a passion for caring and helping in many ways, so I’m excited to one day care for our animals and be a part of preserving the land.  I love the calming affect that animals can have and the stillness of the land.  I’m looking forward to sharing this journey with others and letting them also experience what God has done and will continue to do.  My favorite verse:  Isaiah 40:31 – they shall mount up with wings as eagles.
